This is a first addition, 1984 vintage Jesmar Cabbage Patch kid. This little darling has beautiful beige hair, big green emerald eyes, dimples and a shy smile. She is wearing a custom-made floral dress with matching bloomers and hair bows. She has lavender Cabbage Patch kid shoes. She is a good vintage condition. She does have a small mark on her left arm right above her thumb which you can see in the last photo and she has a teeny tiny docked under her left temple. This is definitely factory made. Not considered a flaw from the Cabbage Patch company, considered a Unique birthmark as a small number of dolls had this happened during the molding process. She has the signature of creator on her bottom. The beige hair emerald green eyes are definitely rare so she would be a great doll to add to your collection! She cannot wait to be adopted! She will come with newly created adoption papers in a gift box.

About Jesmar Cabbage Patch dolls…

Jesmar was a factory located in Spain that manufactured these dolls for Western European market starting in April 1984. These dolls are generally highly coveted by collectors. To identify these dolls, the back of their neck should say, “Made in Spain”. You will also see this on their body tag. What year the doll was made is determined by the signature on their bottom. Jesmar dolls made in early 1984, signature would be black, no date. In late 1984 the signatures are brownish/ black with 84 and in 1985 the signatures were blue with 85. These dolls are taller then Coleco dolls, 17 to 18 inches. They have very firm bodies and limb stitching is not as tight as the Coleco dolls. In the spring of 1985 many foreign factories lost their licenses including Jesmar. Jesmar, only producing these dolls for 2 years, these dolls are hard to find in good condition.
